Aleksandar Karadakoski, the owner of the company "MMMM Cafe Doel Koçani", which managed the discotheque "Pulse", has been arrested, Telma Television reported.

The company had a blocked bank account and was established on May 29, 2020. Karadakoski is also the company's director. According to the latest figures, the company was in the red in 2023 by about 3,000 euros.

In the early hours of March 16, a major fire in a discotheque in Kocani left at least 59 people dead and hundreds injured, who were hospitalized in Skopje, Shtip and Kocani. Among the injured is singer Vladimir Blazev-Panço, who was performing with the band ADN. The singer has burns on his face and hand and is on oxygen support, the artist's family has informed.

Initial information is that the place where the fatal party for young people was organized did not have security conditions and was not adequate to accommodate such a large number of people, which is said to have been between 1,500-1,700 people.

According to initial findings, the fire was caused by sparklers/sprinklers used for stage visual effects, which ignited the roof section made of flammable material "wooden beams".

Late in the afternoon, it was confirmed that among the victims in the Kocani tragedy are 5 members of the DNK music group. Filip Stefanovski, Gjorgi Gjorgiev, Sara Projkovska and Andrej Gjorgievski, the 4 members of the DNK music group, as well as the group's photographer Aleksandar Efremov, lost their lives in last night's tragedy at the PULS discotheque in Kocani.

The news was announced by members of the DNK group, who a few moments ago published photos of their members.

In this tragic event, a football player from Club Skopje also lost his life. This is Andrej Lazarov.

The burned building in Koçan, according to public Cadastral data, has a total area of ​​about 360 square meters on a plot of a total of 970 square meters.

The title deed, according to data from the Cadastral Agency, is recorded in the name of Milkovski Andon Grozdan, however, it is not known whether the name that appears is actually the owner of the building.

From the data so far, the facility had two entrances and exits, one main, and one used by staff and VIPs. Our information indicates that the club operated with a forged license bearing the signature of the former state secretary at the Ministry of Economy, Razmena Çekic Durović.

Durovic held the position of state secretary during the time that Kreshnik Bekteshi led the ministry.
