The race for the Supreme Court of Justice, the three new members will be decided tomorrow! Here are the candidates

Three new members of the High Judicial Council are expected to be elected tomorrow, September 25, following a process initiated by the General Assembly of Judges. The vote will determine the representatives of the three levels of the judicial system: the Supreme Court, the courts of appeal and the courts of first instance.

Judges Arbena Ahmeti and Sandër Simoni are running for the position of Supreme Court representative, while Igerta Hysi and Fatri Islamaj are running for the position of Court of Appeal representative.

The race for one of the seats on the courts of first instance is between three candidates: Matilda Llangozi, Brunilda Kadi and Manjola Xhaxho. The election process will take place during the meeting scheduled for September 25.

At the end of the vote, the three judges who will join the composition of the High Judicial Council will be determined, representing the High Court, the courts of appeal and the courts of first instance, respectively.
