Trial in The Hague, the panel of judges: The illegal arrest of at least 385 people was confirmed

The trial panel found that the Specialized Prosecutor's Office managed to prove that the war crime of illegal arrest was committed against at least 385 people.

Judge Charles Smith: In 14 municipalities, KLA members committed acts or interventions to deprive 385 persons of their liberty who were not participating in hostilities, making their detention arbitrary. The SPO confirms that war crimes were committed against at least 385 persons

348 people were cruelly treated and 308 were tortured.

Inhumane conditions of detention were created, detainees were kept in buildings, stables, cattle sheds, schools. There were no beds or blankets, detainees slept on the floor, and they did not have enough water and food.
