Prime Minister Edi Rama, in the FLASIM Podcast regarding the SPAK investigation into tenders awarded by the Information Society Agency (AKSHI) and the recent scandal related to this institution, has openly defended the director under house arrest, Mirlinda Kaçanai.
Rama stressed that AKSHI is facing an investigation by SPAK for the use of funds, focusing on Mirlinda Karçanai, who led the realization of the government's vision for the digital transformation of the state with dedication and knowledge for 12 years. The Prime Minister underlined that Karçanai is currently under a security measure for a serious accusation, but stressed that the truth can only come out of justice and not from "700 pots of political and media soup."
