Erion Veliaj's arrest, first reactions from socialist MPs

Following the arrest of Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj, Prime Minister Edi Rama canceled his visit to Shkodra and immediately returned to Tirana. Meanwhile, the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group is holding an emergency meeting.
Socialist MPs, asked by journalists about Veliaj's arrest, chose not to comment, with the exception of MP Lavdrim Krashi.
Asked about his position, Krashi replied briefly: "They are for justice, what comment do we have?"
Next, when journalists asked him about Veliaj's political affiliation, he added: "Whoever he is, he is from Albania?"
MP Toni Gogu also reacted to the media microphones, saying that he does not take a position on judicial decisions, but said that Veliaj remains his good friend.
On the other hand, Blendi Klosi, asked by journalists about Veliaj's arrest as he entered Parliament, stated that he is not authorized to make any comments.
