Prime Minister Edi Rama decided yesterday to make significant changes to the government cabinet, replacing almost half of his team with which he began this new mandate in September 2025.

One of the changes made is the appointment of Ferit Hoxha as Minister of Foreign Affairs, replacing Elisa Spiropali, and on this occasion a reaction was made by former Minister of Foreign Affairs Besnik Mustafaj, through a post on his account on the social network "Facebook".

"As an early colleague, but also as a minister who I included in my close circle of collaborators, giving the first major impetus to his career, I heartily wish Feri Hoxha success," Mustafaj wrote.

He further expressed his hope that one of his first acts as minister will be the repeal of the Foreign Service Law.
