Rama in Dibër: PS thinks only about the national interest and the people

Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke at the 35th anniversary celebration of the Socialist Party in Dibër.

He presented the Socialist Party as the savior of the nation, positioning himself and the party as the only force that thinks about the people.

The Prime Minister spoke about the Arbri Road, presenting it as a historic achievement of the Socialist Party.

However, this delayed project has been plagued by technical and financial problems, while Rama sells it as a symbol of the socialist vision.

" It would have been unthinkable before we managed to build the Dibrani road, the Arbri road, for you to come to have a meeting and return for another meeting in Tirana. This was achieved, but it is not the end but the continuation of a road that is the road of the Socialist Party, in which we have seen and heard a lot, but we have also done a lot."

The history of the Socialist Party did not begin with the moment when Ulsi and I joined the party, but rather it began with the moment when the socialists and progressives made a very clear choice and very reasonably broke away from the past, giving birth to a party that over the past 35 years has marked some very important things in the book of Albanian political life.

The Socialist Party has proven more than once that it is the only political force that has a crystal clear relationship with the national interest.

The most culminating example of this fact is related to the period when the Socialist Party and its historical leader Fatos Nano were bombed from all sides as being linked to Belgrade, but it was those who bombed those who spoke about Kosovo during the day, broke the embargo that the democratic world had on Milosevic, and sold him oil to supply the fascist machinery of ethnic division.

Meanwhile, there was the Socialist Party and these governments, one after another, left nothing undone, openly and secretly, to support the KLA and the liberation of Kosovo.

"In these 35 years, the Socialist Party has done a lot in the past, unlike those who presented themselves as the force of the future and turned Albania upside down, bringing destruction, but the Socialist Party knew very well to clearly separate itself from the dictatorship and never to cloud its view of the national liberation war and the true history of Albania's liberation," he emphasized.
