The premises of today's (March 28) expanded meeting of the Socialist Party were turned into a bunker, but despite the hermeticity of official information, there was still no shortage of data leaks about the tension that accompanied this meeting and even the Rama-Spiropali retort.

The topic of the meeting was the "trial" that would be held against former Minister Elisa Spiropali, after the socialist MP did not participate in the parliamentary vote on March 12, where the majority, by the force of 82 votes, rejected SPAK's request to lift the immunity of the deputy prime minister accused of abuse of office and tendering.

Sources informed that at the Brigades Palace, where the meeting of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group and others took place, there were high tensions. Particularly noticeable were those between MP Spiropali and Prime Minister Rama.

During the speech of the director of the Cadastre, Lorena Goxhobelli, there was an intervention from Spiropali, asking her to have more respect for the deputies, and at that moment, Rama is said to have intervened, telling her to stop and not speak.

"A little more respect for the MPs, don't talk to us like we're MPs," Spiropali is reported to have said, drawing the attention of the Cadastre official.

At that moment, Prime Minister Rama himself reacted, addressing Spiropali in harsh tones.

"Don't open your mouth at all, at all. Don't speak at all, at least in my presence!" he declared, according to sources for "Panorama".

At today's meeting, Spiropali and MP Erion Braçe were seen sitting in the second row and behind Prime Minister Rama. The meeting focused on Spiropali's absence from Parliament, where Balluk's immunity was defended by the socialist majority.

The former minister herself responded to the criticism and statements of the group's leader, Taulant Balla, that she was ready for an open meeting with a transparent and exhaustive debate in the confrontation.
