Liverpool signs multi-million-euro deal with German giants

Liverpool have signed a long-term contract with Adidas, which comes into effect from next season, replacing Nike as the manufacturer of sportswear. According to British media, the agreement has a duration of 5 years and is valued at over 60 million pounds (about 71 million euros) per year.
The Anfield club have worn Adidas twice before, from 1985 to 1996 and from 2006 to 2012. "Everyone at the club is incredibly excited to welcome Adidas back into the LFC family," Liverpool CEO Billy Hogan said in a statement on Monday.
"We have had incredible success together in the past and have created some of the most iconic LFC kits of all time. Adidas and Liverpool share the same ambition for success, so we couldn't be happier about this new partnership as we look forward to creating more amazing kits that will help the team perform on the pitch."
Nike has been Liverpool's kit supplier for the past five seasons. The new deal with Adidas will start on August 1, 2025.
