Saranda Police have arrested a 35-year-old citizen, Klement Hamzo, born in Fier and residing in Greece, who was caught red-handed driving a vehicle without a driving license and attempting to bribe police officers.
The incident occurred during patrols by the “Eagle” patrol services in neighborhood no. 2, on “Vangjel Pandi” street. When the Seat vehicle, driven by KH, was stopped for verification, it was discovered that he did not have a driving license and to avoid legal prosecution, he offered 50 euros to bribe the police.
After the arrest, the procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of Saranda for further legal action. The Saranda Police continues its efforts to guarantee law enforcement and road safety, cracking down on any form of corruption and violation of the law.
Crime Investigation Specialists at the Saranda Police Station arrested KH, 35 years old, born in Fier and residing in Greece, after he was caught red-handed driving a vehicle without a driver's license and attempting to bribe the police.
During patrols in neighborhood no. 2, on “Vangjel Pandi” street, the “Eagle” patrol services stopped for verification a Seat vehicle, driven by citizen KH. From the checks, it resulted that the 35-year-old was driving the vehicle without a driving license and, in order to avoid legal measures, attempted to bribe police officers by offering them 50 euros.
The Saranda Police continues its commitment to guarantee law enforcement and road safety, cracking down on any attempt at violation or corruption.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Saranda, for further legal action.
