Bulqiza miners continue protest, fail to reach agreement with Turkish company

The Bulqiza miners' protest has entered its sixth day, where they continue to remain inside the mine to demand fulfillment of the terms of the agreement with the Turkish company Yıldırım Holding.

Yesterday, representatives of this company had a meeting with the miners, but no agreement was reached between the parties, as the company has not fulfilled its previously established obligations.

The miners have declared that they will continue the protest until their demands, which include better working conditions and occupational health and safety insurance, are met.

The protest is a reaction to difficult working conditions and the failure of company representatives to honor commitments.
