1,500 young people choose Vodafone to start their careers! “Graduate Programme”, a success of investing in young talent in Albania

For more than 25 years, Vodafone Albania has invested in human capital and in the development of talented and excellent young people, offering them the opportunity to take the first steps in their careers. Through these programs such as “Graduate Programs”, young graduates have the opportunity to discover their potential, gain practical experience and start building their professional future through Vodafone.

"We offer them the opportunity to gain experience in different departments, from IT, AI and Digital Engineering, to other business areas. During this journey, they have the opportunity to explore and adapt based on their skills and interests, but also on the needs of the company. Thus, everyone can find themselves in the role where they can best contribute, while simultaneously building their personal career and providing value within Vodafone", said Vodafone Albania's Human Resources Director, Erald Hysa.

This year, Vodafone Albania’s dedicated “Graduate Programme” reached another record, attracting around 1,500 applications from young people across the country. This is the highest number of applications registered to date through this programme, demonstrating the growing interest of young people in developing their careers in the technology and innovation sector. After a selection process, the 30 finalists faced a real work experience through a simulation developed by experts from CeSIM, an international company with 30 years of experience in the field of simulations. After this challenge, the 10 best candidates will have the opportunity to continue their professional journey at Vodafone Albania.

"Now the journey and climb up the career ladder really begins, through dedicated modules and specific training, designed to best prepare them for the challenges of the future. We invest heavily in their development and this investment does not end with the program, but continues further throughout their professional journey," continued Hysa.

The two-year "Graduate Programme" is one of Vodafone Albania's most important programs and is designed for young people with little or no professional experience, who are open to exploring different career paths, regardless of whether they have completed their Bachelor's or Master's studies.

What Vodafone values ​​in candidates is not simply their field of study or previous professional experience, but their potential and what they can achieve in the future.

During the two-year program, the 10 selected candidates will have the opportunity to get to know Vodafone in 360 degrees, exploring both the customer perspective and different areas of the business. Through this exposure, training and practical experience, the program aims to help young people identify their strengths and prepare for further career steps, including the opportunity to take on managerial roles within the company.

"Today, 80% of Vodafone's management is filled by individuals who started their journey precisely through this program," explained the Human Resources Director of Vodafone Albania.

The Graduate Programme is part of Vodafone’s ongoing commitment to identify, develop and support young talent, offering them real opportunities for professional development and employment. The programme is also implemented in the European countries where Vodafone operates, creating a sustainable platform for the development of the next generation of professionals and leaders.
