The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, appeared today at SPAK, in compliance with the mandatory appearance measure.

After leaving the premises of the Special Prosecution Office, Berisha stopped for a statement to the media, where he was also asked about a possible trip to Washington as part of the IDU forum, which is expected to take place on December 2-4.

Asked if he will be part of the forum, Berisha said that in principle the answer is positive, but the final decision will be made later.

Excerpt from the statement:

Mr. Berisha, one question please, will you travel to Washington again for the IDU forum to be held on December 2 and 4?

Sali Berisha: Yes, excuse me, will I go to Washington in December? What if I go before December?

I'm asking about the forum, Mr. Berisha?

Sali Berisha: Regarding the forum, I will make the decision later, in principle yes, but it is not the final decision.
