Abdixhiku: Regrettably, but 6 LDK MPs will not vote for Bekim Sejdiu for president

The leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, spoke to the media after the meeting he had with the parliamentary group of this party, regarding the name of Bekim Sejdiu for president of the country.
After this meeting, Abdixhiku said that six LDK MPs will not vote for the proposed presidential candidate in the agreement reached with the Vetëvendosje Movement.
'With great regret for the people, six LDK deputies have decided not to respect Bekim Sejdiu's proposal for president. They are Avdullah Hoti, Hykmete Bajrami, Arben Gashi, Armend Zemaj, Kujtim Shala and Janina Ymeri,' said Abdixhiku.
Abdixhiku described their stance as bad news for Kosovo.
'At this stage, I consider that they are doing irreparable damage to the process and unnecessarily sending the country to extraordinary elections,' he said.
