The State Police has released new official data regarding the tragic accident that occurred on the Lure-Rrëshen road, in the village of Kurbnesh, Mirdita.

According to the official police announcement, the vehicle that went off the road was driven by citizen AK, about 20 years old. As a result of the vehicle crash, a passenger, citizen CN, about 20 years old, died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle, AK, and another minor passenger, about 15 years old, were injured in the collision. Due to the injuries they sustained, the two injured were urgently transported by helicopter to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana to receive more specialized medical assistance.
