Selime Qelemeni, who was involved in an accident on the Korça - Pogradec axis, has passed away.
The driver of the vehicle, citizen Guri Metko, 27 years old, resident of Drsnik, has also been identified.
Specialists from the Road Traffic Sector, after intensive checks and monitoring of cameras in the area where the accident occurred, have made it possible to identify the vehicle and its driver, who left the scene of the accident.
At around 17:40, in the village of Bulgarec, this citizen, with the vehicle he was driving, hit a 65-year-old SQ citizen, a pedestrian, who died in hospital as a result of her injuries.
The search for the 27-year-old continues.
The procedural materials will be passed on to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
