The convicts and detainees in IEVP 313 in Tirana, who have been judged by the Special Anticorruption Court, have addressed an open letter to the deputies of the Albanian Parliament, to be included in the amnesty.
In the letter, they say that they were convicted for the same crimes as the other prisoners who are part of the amnesty, which is expected to be voted on in the Assembly, such as cultivating narcotic plants or crossing the border illegally, so they want equality.
" I hope you understand us about the letter we are writing to you. This letter comes to you on behalf of the detainees and prisoners from IVP 313 Tirana, tried and sentenced by GJKKO. We ask for the understanding of all the deputies of the Albanian parliament, amnesty and forgiveness for the special court, because we are the people, we are all co-sufferers, it is human rights for equality, since they are the same criminal offenses as the cultivation of narcotic plants, illegal crossing of the border etc. We are asking you, because we have been punished by justice for the first time, we are serving the punishment, we have no alternative measures and we are being punished by justice and all the deputies of the Albanian parliament.
We would like your understanding, because we, like our fellow sufferers, have families, parents, sisters, brothers and children who are waiting for us.
