The court has imposed the security measure "house arrest" for singer Jozefin Marku and his driver, Kristjan Nikollin, arrested in connection with the attack on Eduard Kuçi.
The decision was made after the hearing to determine the security measure, while the Prosecution had requested "prison arrest" for both arrested.
Investigations into the incident continue to uncover the full circumstances of the conflict and the role of each of the individuals involved.
As part of the investigation, the Prosecution is also verifying the use of State Police symbols, while an expert report has been requested to determine the bodily injuries that Eduard Kuçi may have suffered.
Meanwhile, Kuçi is wanted by the police on charges of failing to report a crime. According to investigations, he did not initially report the incident to the police, describing it as a conflict caused by a vehicle blocking the road.
After verifications conducted by the police, charges were filed against Kuçi for failing to report a crime and he was placed on police wanted list for questioning and to provide clarification on the incident.
In his defense, Jozefin Marku stated after his arrest that he was irritated after Kuçi had insulted him on social media.
Now, with the court's decision for "house arrest", Marku and Nikolli will continue to be under personal security during the investigation.
