The boycott in the courts expands after the salary crisis, work is also "paralyzed" in the courts of Fier, Vlora and Lushnja

Services for citizens and lawyers in the courts of Fier, Vlora and Lushnja have been disrupted this morning, as the secretariat and the entire judicial administration have entered into a boycott.

Sources indicate that court proceedings have been suspended for most files and only urgent sessions will be held.

The background to this boycott is related to the impasse created over August salaries for magistrates, an institutional clash between the judiciary and the executive that has blocked the release of funds from the Treasury, leaving support administration employees without payment.

Following the blockage of services at the Tirana Court, today's reaction of employees in Fier, Vlora and Lushnje shows the escalation of this crisis in the entire justice system, while an urgent solution is required for the execution of payrolls.
