A burned vehicle suspected of being used for illegal activities is found in Cerkovina.

An off-road vehicle, stolen some time ago, was found burned in an old military tunnel in the Cerkovina area.
As reported, the incident occurred on Monday evening, around 11:00 PM, on an unpaved road connecting Cerkovina with the surrounding villages.
After the fire alarm, fire services arrived in the area and intervened to extinguish the flames. Police forces and an investigation team also arrived at the scene.
From the verifications carried out, including checking the chassis number, it resulted that the vehicle had been reported stolen some time ago in the village of Panaja.
Sources from the investigation group indicate that the police are also investigating the track to see if the vehicle may have been used for various illegal activities before ending up hidden in the old military tunnel.
The vehicle was inside the tunnel, in an isolated area and on an unpaved road, which meant that its presence was not detected earlier by residents of the area.
The police have begun obtaining and managing security camera footage in the area, with the aim of identifying the people who left the vehicle in the tunnel, as well as its route.
Investigators are working to determine when the vehicle was brought to this area and for what purpose it may have been used.
Meanwhile, as a result of the burning vehicle, the flames have also engulfed an area of vegetation near the tunnel, requiring the intervention of the fire service.
