NAMES/ Skënder Hita makes unexpected changes in the State Police, moves leaders to several districts

The changes in the ranks of the blue police reported a day ago by Newsbomb are now official. The State Police has made public the new movements in its structures at the national level, after the signing of the relevant orders by Police Chief Skënder Hitaj.

This concerns a series of appointments, transfers and changes in duties, affecting leaders of several local Police directorates and other State Police structures.

Specifically, First Director Kastriot Skënderaj is appointed Director of the Elbasan Local Police Directorate. In this position, he replaces Director Fatmir Hoxha, who is leaving the management of the Elbasan DVP and is appointed Specialist in the Directorate for Integration in the General Directorate of the State Police.

There are also changes in the Police structures in the southeast of the country. Director Luigj Vathi, who held the position of Director of the Berat Local Police Directorate, is appointed Director of the Korça Local Directorate for Border and Migration.

Meanwhile, Director Gëzim Zhupaj is transferred from the position of Director of the Korça Local Directorate for Border and Migration and is appointed Head of Sector in the Department for Public Order and Security at the General Directorate of the State Police.

The moves also affect the structures of the Tirana Police. Chief Commissioner Dashnor Muhaj, who held the position of Deputy Director for Public Order and Security at the Tirana DVP, is transferred and appointed Specialist for Irregular Migration at the Department for Border and Migration at the General Directorate of the State Police.
