KLGJ and KLP decided to increase salaries, the government 'retaliates' and blocks their salaries

The State Treasury has blocked salaries for the month of August for the High Prosecutorial Council and the High Judicial Council.

The decision comes after a few days ago the two justice institutions decided to increase salaries.

On August 28, the High Prosecutorial Council decided to increase the salary to 236,425 lek, the reference salary to 222,425 lek and the qualification level to 14,000 lek.

On August 26, the High Judicial Council decided to increase the reference salary of every judge in the country by 65,600 lek.
