Businessmen's clash in Vlora/ Rama: Banal and brutal conflict! We will expropriate the area for public interest

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to yesterday's incident, where two businessmen were involved in a clash in the city of Vlora.

"Yesterday's story of the banal conflict between two builders in Vlora, on the other hand, an analysis of the property map in question, convinced us that we must not only put an end to that story, but also give a clear message to all those who develop or manage tourism assets.

They must understand that they cannot violate with hurtful approaches and behavior what is the national mission of Albania's tourism, which goes far beyond physical transformation and imposes all of this on themselves, first and foremost, from investors to waiters, to think and behave as ambassadors of Albanian tourism, even with each other, let alone with Albanian society and countless visitors.

Banality and brutality must receive the responses required by the social importance of the national mission, and the perpetrators of hurtful actions, with rudeness towards customers, irresponsibility towards shared space, acts of arrogance, and disruptive noise must become an example of a necessary red line for Albania's tourism industry.

"We have decided to expropriate for the public interest the entire area of ​​that banal and brutal conflict of yesterday, and according to the law, turn it into a public and tourist asset for all, a natural oasis for the blessed olive tree. A living park, where the autochthonous Albanian and Mediterranean varieties will be planted and preserved, all the olive oils produced in Albania will be exhibited. A new information address, a new space of knowledge and experiential tourism, a land that violently divided two neighboring investors, disgusting all of Albania, a space that will unite everyone, a territory of peace under the shadow of the Tree of Peace, the olive tree," Rama said.
