Invited to Top Channel with Grida Duma, Sali Berisha has given an unusual statement about his political profile. As never before, he has admitted that with the path he started in the DP after being suspended from the parliamentary group by Lulzim Basha, he was aware that the party would split.
"I knew that the party would split. I knew that people would rightly be concerned about this stance towards America," Berisha said.
This statement comes shortly after another statement by Berisha, who some time ago on Ora e Betit on Ora News stated that it was great luck for Albania that the Democratic Party did not win the elections.
These two statements by Berisha, more than their conscience, highlight the subconscious of a politician who, for his own personal gain, set fire to the DP and the opposition, shrinking and reducing it even more, despite 12 years in the opposition.
