"At the top of the list are my father and cousins" - Adriatik Lapaj

The leader of "Albania Becomes", Adriatik Lapaj, has responded to Prime Minister Edi Rama, who today mocked him by saying that "he has put his father at the top of the list". Lapaj, through a post on Facebook, invited the Prime Minister to a debate, while saying that he "has no time for chatter, as he is busy".

"Mr. Rama wants to chat, but I'm busy with meetings. I'll wait for you in the debate! I'll wait for you whenever you want and wherever you want," Lapaj writes.

Lapaj also says that placing his name on the open list "has enraged all the hostage-takers of Tirana."

"Our bold decision to compete with OPEN LISTS has enraged all the hostage takers of Tirana.

Personally, I am running on the open list of 18 in Tirana. Why have these other mayors included themselves on the safe lists?

"I entered politics to impose race as a standard. Their mud adds nourishment to our roots," Lapaj writes.

Prime Minister Rama mocked the opposition parties, which according to him are marketed as new parties, but which in essence are not.

Here Rama referred to Adriatik Lapaj's party, which places his father on the closed list for the Berat district.

"We offer the youngest party, we give the opportunity for young people to go to parliament, because anyone can form a new party with all their cousins and their father at the top of the list and shout that we are the youth and curse everyone and still be the same as old age. At this historical moment, Albania cannot play, because an extraordinary window has opened," said Rama.
