The Secretary General of the Socialist Party, Blendi Klosi, was invited to the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, where he spoke about the generational change in the SP and the fact that Edi Rama has left out male MPs from the safe list, reserving this list for young people and women. 

Klosi said that the Socialist Party is always working on elections and as soon as one electoral process ends, work begins on the next process. 

"We have started, it has been two years since the 2023 elections ended, we directly held an Assembly, made changes in political leaders, started working on re-energizing, when we enter the race today, the feeling that the SP represents the spirit and new elements of society... When it comes to the list, the SP does not have the slightest difficulty in saying that in this part of the campaign we will choose new elements, to change most of the candidates, meanwhile all the strong elements of the SP, except for the political leaders, will be in the race as deputies on open lists, they have stayed close to the electorate, they collect votes from the electorate, during all this time we have been dealing with the renewal and refreshing of the forums. 
We are constantly engaged in the campaign, both on the ground and in the diaspora, the vote that will come from our emigrants wherever they are. Compared to our opponents, we do not have the difficulty in moving into this new stage. 

Being young creates a profile that is commented on more broadly... The party is a mechanism that always seeks to have new elements. It is not the first time. Parties always say this, they try to recruit or introduce new people from the highest forums, to forums of every level. In right-wing parties there are no new elements. In the SP, the new elements, alternating with those with experience, create teams. The SP has managed to have these new generations alternate and find themselves according to values, the votes they give, etc. In politics, if you don't get votes, you are no longer a politician", said Klosi. 

Asked why the SP does not have allies, as the DP has with 26 parties in coalition, Klosi said that this decision was made in 2017 and that this party has a coalition with the citizens. As for the DP, he said that it has a coalition with the losers. 

"We have chosen this formula since 2017. We decided that our only coalition will be the coalition with the citizens. All the gentlemen shown in the photo (the DP coalition) are losers. They have 10 losses to the SP and no one inspires hope for a new element and feeling. They are all losers and they are a coalition of parties that in 2021, even though they were once again such small parties, lost very deeply. I don't know what message the DP wanted to give, which has gathered the losers with it, but also those it accuses of many things, some of whom took the mandate, merged their votes with the SP, today are in the coalition. I don't know who teaches them, but you couldn't do worse than that ," said Klosi.
