"Citizens will overthrow this government themselves on May 11", Albi

Albi Xhunga, in an interview with A2CNN, said that Albanians will overthrow this government on May 11th, given the high pressure from SPAK and internationals in these elections.

He further said that the best alternative to take power in Albania is the Euro-Atlantic Coalition led by Lulzim Basha. The reason, according to him, is that he is the most successful minister in 35 years, as he holds the signature of NATO membership, visa liberalization and the path of the Nation.

Asked by the journalist about the accusations made against him for January 21, Xhunga said that even his political opponents accuse Sali Berisha of this event and not him, but that anyone with accusations should address SPAK.

Albi Xhunga : I believe that on May 11, Albanians will vote more freely for the reasons listed above, SPAK and the internationals who have a fairly high pressure on the May 11 process, I believe that Albanians will throw them out with their votes.

Question : They will vote them out, but to choose who Albi?

Albi Xhunga : To choose new political alternatives. I have stated my preferences publicly. I believe that the most essential formation, an alternative to take power in Albania, is the Euro-Atlantic Coalition led by Lulzim Basha.

Question : Do you see a political force ready and capable of leading the country?

Albi Xhunga : Unquestionably. Lulzim Basha, we can say without exaggeration that he is truly a man who has had no power except for those four years as mayor. But he is the most successful minister in 35 years in Albania. NATO membership, visa liberalization, the path of the Nation.

Question : But the Nation's path also has accusations, since you mentioned it.

Albi Xhunga : Of course, every big deal has accusations. Those who have accusations are asked to go to SPAK. That is, if until yesterday there was impunity, today no one is preventing those who accuse, who have accused Lulzim Basha until yesterday, from taking these accusations to SPAK.
