Journalist Vullnet Krasniqi admits in Big Brother that he is 'gay'

The charismatic and controversial journalist, Vullnet Krasniqi, has started his journey in the most watched television format in Albanian territory, Big Brother VIP Kosova 3, since October 18.
Volunt like never before has confessed to 'Big Brother' for his whole life, as for the first time and exclusively he has accepted his homosexuality.
In an emotional confession, he has shown how he realized that he is 'gay' and what difficulties he encountered in his journey from a man who has consent to the same sex.
"I realized that my sexuality is not something common and this happened sometime when I was in high school. In the high school in Drenas and in my town where I live, love has met a man and a woman and any discussion of the opposite has been ridiculed and forbidden. Later, when I started to explore myself, I realized that I wanted to look at men more than women - I tried several times to live life as others say, since the first time I realized that I was 'gay' I would like to be a self-discovery like everywhere else in the world, but in Kosovo this is not possible", said Vulneti.
This whole phase, as Volulneti says, has been difficult and depressing, as the difficulties of accepting his sexuality made him live his life on what others wanted to see. But, as the journalist himself says, all the difficulties were also a happy journey of self-acceptance.
"For me, this self-discovery has led me to a depressive phase, as I have remained reeling in the waves that others wanted to take me to. I am still worried that the fact of my sexuality has been a difficult process but also happy that I have achieved that within 5-6 years that I have accepted it within my people that I can go out with boys with bo whatever I want with boys and that I like boys has spread to a wider circle," said Vullneti.
Further, he said that knowing the impact of viewership and breaking taboos through Big Brother VIP Kosovo, he hopes to be the voice of all those people who have difficulty accepting their sexuality, wanting to show them that they are not alone and that they should live life the way they want and not the way others want.
