Robbie Williams returns to battle with depression: I thought I was cured

Famous British singer Robbie Williams has recently revealed that he has faced depression again, after a ten-year period in which he thought he had overcome this dark battle.
The 50-year-old artist, who has struggled with mental health issues since his twenties, a time when he was also dealing with addiction and instant fame, has confessed that in early 2025 he felt the return of symptoms of depression. "I was convinced I was cured. When it happened, I didn't understand at all why it was happening to me again," he said.
In addition to his internal struggles, Williams is also going through a difficult time at home. His mother, Janet, has been diagnosed with dementia, while his father, Pete, has Parkinson's disease. The singer admitted that dealing with these challenges has further strained his emotional state.
This candid account comes as an important reminder of the long-term impact of mental health and the importance of ongoing care, no matter how distant the past may seem.
