Broja on the "blacklist", among the 10 worst transfers in England
In Albania, for years, Armando Broja was seen as the great hope of the red and black nation, one of the few players with explosive potential, capable of deciding a match single-handedly. Bad luck and frequent injuries have greatly diminished his brilliance, where from a star he has become a concern for the teams he was loaned to over the years. Broja failed to leave his mark even in the World Cup qualifiers, although Sylvinho has mostly activated him as a starter.
His transfer to Burnley was seen as the right move, but as time went by from starter to starter, Broja found himself on the bench. Recently, according to a report published by the famous English website, “SportBible”, Broja sees himself among the 10 worst transfers of this season in the Premier League.
The red and black striker is ranked 6th in this "black list" made public by "SportBible". His disappointing performances with the Burnley shirt make Broja's future unclear at the end of this season, as the Burnley team has one foot in the Championship. Fortunately, Broja is not the only one on this list which is headed by Alexander Isak, with the Swede being transferred to Liverpool for a record figure, 145 million euros.
