Unusual with the national team player in La Liga! After the protest about the

Rayo Vallecano is facing an unusual situation in La Liga. After the protest by Ivan Balliu and his friends about working conditions, another problem disrupted work. The Federation postponed today's match with Real Oviedo scheduled for 14:00, while the cause was precisely the conditions of the stadium after the situation worsened by the continuous rain.

Spanish Football Federation announcement:

"In order to ensure the physical integrity of the players, La Liga has decided to suspend the match corresponding to the 23rd week of La Liga, which was to be played between Rayo Vallecano and Real Oviedo at the Vallecas stadium this Saturday, February 7, at 2:00 p.m.," the statement said.

The decision was made after it was determined that, currently, the playing field does not meet the necessary guarantees for the match to be held in safe conditions.

It should be noted that Rajo Vajecano has made considerable efforts this week, undertaking a complete replacement of the pitch's grass, in order to ensure that the match can take place as planned. However, the poor weather conditions during the works, as well as the forecast of continuous rain in the coming hours, have prevented the grass from reaching the optimal condition required.

Throughout this process, La Liga has continuously monitored the maintenance and adaptation work of the playing field, working in coordination with the club and constantly monitoring the evolution of the field's conditions.

"Both the club and La Liga have used all possible means to play the match until the last moment. However, the condition of the pitch and the weather forecast for today, which predicts continuous rain, make it impossible to guarantee the safety of the players, and for this reason the match has been postponed."
