Carrick is magical, Manchester United beats Tottenham and goes on to win four in

Manchester United continue their positive momentum under Michael Carrick, recording their fourth consecutive win in all competitions.

The Red Devils triumphed 2-0 over Tottenham, in a match where they controlled the game and made the most of their numerical advantage.

Carrick, who was initially seen as a temporary solution on the United bench, is increasingly gaining the trust of the club's management, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the board now seriously considering him as a candidate to take over the job on a permanent basis.

The match was significantly affected by Cristian Romero's red card in the 29th minute. The Argentine defender was sent off immediately after a serious foul on Casemiro, leaving Tottenham with a man down for more than an hour of play.

United took advantage of their numerical superiority and took the lead in the first half through Bryan Mbeumo's goal. In the second half, Bruno Fernandes sealed the 2-0 victory, confirming his excellent form.

Mbeumo's goal was particularly painful for Spurs manager Thomas Frank, who had been one of the key figures in the Frenchman's development during his time at Brentford.

Even before the red card, Manchester United looked a confident team, tactically liberated after the recent changes. Bruno Fernandes was the absolute protagonist on the pitch, moving in every sector and constantly creating danger for the opposing defense.

Positive performances were also made by Kobbie Mainoo, back in the lineup and significantly more energetic, as well as Matheus Cunha and Amad Diallo, who appeared free and creative in the offensive phase.
