Genard and Sonida Hajdini (brother and sister), otherwise known as the two most viral characters on social networks, have been admitted to the Psychiatric Hospital.
According to reports, their hospitalization came after the publication of several intimate images of Sonida, which Genardi published on social networks, causing strong reactions and raising serious concerns about her condition.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Health, the pair has been admitted to a psychiatric hospital where Sonida is receiving medical treatment, while the case has been referred to the Prosecutor's Office.
"Following the publication on the Instagram page of citizen GH, where his sister, citizen SH, was inappropriately shown, the local social structures of Administrative Unit no. 2, together with the medical staff of Health Center no. 1 and the police officers of Commissariat no. 1, assessed the condition of citizen SH.
During the interview, he stated that the video was intended to go viral on the character himself and not contain elements of violence or malicious intent. The video was deleted by GH itself, following a police order.
"Currently, they are hospitalized for more specialized medical services at the psychiatric hospital in Tirana, while the competent authorities have referred the materials to the prosecutor's office, according to our recommendation," the announcement states.
