Residents of Rrjoll have once again blocked work on the resort being built in the area.
They have been protesting for six days, and have also made an appeal to the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha.
According to them, they have been called to the protest to be held on Tuesday, February 10, but Berisha himself is not supporting them in their protest.
"Why is Sali Berisha calling us on the 10th when he has his own interests in making a mess. When he has seen this people for 6 days and has not sent a representative, or why has he not come to represent us and support our strike, on our land.
"Does Sali Berisha have a hand in this? Please, don't call us when you have your own interests, but support us in our interests as well, " says one of the protesters.
Other residents say that the works will be interrupted every day.
" What we have left here is what we are, we will see what will come. It will be a protest that will not end today or in a month, we call on the state to put these letters on display " - the protesters express.
Even on the sixth day, the works were temporarily halted, as residents expressed their determination not to allow the works.
So far, the road to the construction site has been opened, while locals say that the moment the beach area and the forest are affected, the protests will be more fierce.
