According to Sport Bild, Bayern Munich have little hope that Manuel Neuer will be fit for either of their Champions League matches against Inter.
The captain is likely to be out for longer than initially hoped due to the foot injury that is currently keeping him out of action. It was previously reported that the Bavarians were hoping Neuer would be fit for the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Inter on April 16.
However, according to the report, the German giants now have little hope that the veteran will be able to play in one of their matches against the Serie A side, as the injury is proving to be much more serious than initially hoped. 21-year-old Jonas Urbig is expected to start.
So far, Urbig has made five appearances for Bayern, since joining from Cologne during the winter transfer window.
