Only 15 years old, Leicester striker makes Premier League history

Although they have officially been relegated from the Premier League, Leicester City have made history with one of their players. It is Jeremy Monga who has made history in the history of British football's elite.

The winger, aged 15 years and 271 days, made his debut for Leicester against Newcastle on Sunday evening, becoming the second youngest player in Premier League history.

The record for the youngest player to debut at the highest level of English football is held by Arsenal's Ethan Nwaneri, who made his debut in 2022 at the age of 15 years and 181 days.
