The GJKKO appeal has rejected the request of Ajola Xoxa, the wife of Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj, for the seizure of her cell phone.
Ajola Xoxa has appealed the decision of December 20, 2024 of the Special Court for the seizure of her belongings, but the request was rejected during today's hearing by Magistrate Engert Pëllumbi.
We recall that Engert Pëllumbi took up the case after Judge Iliriana Olldashi presented the 'Report on Temporary Incapacity for Work'.
The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime, with a monocratic panel composed of Judge Engert Pëllumbi, today on 19.02.2025, announced the decision on criminal case no. 53, date 12.02.2025 registration , registered on the appeal of the appellants AX, Commercial Company “***” sh.pk, with the subject: “Appeal against decision no. 736, date 20.12.2024 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, regarding the objection to the decision on the seizure of items” , and decided :
Approval of decision no. 736, dated 20.12.2024 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime.
This decision may be appealed to the Supreme Court within 45 days from the day after its notification.
