New evidence/ Environmental and telephone wiretaps of Veliaj and his brother: Launch a media campaign against SPAK prosecutors!

Telephone and environmental wiretaps were brought by SPAK to the desk of the Special Appeals Judge, Engert Pëllumbi, who was familiar with the content of the conversations that Erjon Veliaj had in prison with his brother, Arbër Veliaj.
At the same time, SPAK is reported to have wiretapped Arbër Veliaj, who, it turns out, after receiving orders from his brother in prison, directed several media outlets to launch an attack campaign against SPAK prosecutors.
Such an action, derived from environmental wiretapping inside the prison and the telephone tapping carried out on Arbër Veliaj, has led the prosecutors of the case to the Court of Appeals, with an additional argument as to why Erion Veliaj should remain in prison.
According to the prosecution, Veliaj has launched a media campaign against prosecutors and other members of the investigative group, an action that, according to them, should not happen and is illegal as it aims to intimidate people in the justice system.
In fact, this is just a perception created by prosecutors, as every person, whether in prison or out, has the right to legal protection and to have their voice heard in the media.
In their claims before the Special Appeals Court, prosecutors are reported to have stated that the person under investigation, Erjon Veliaj, and his family members have committed acts and attempts to destroy evidence, therefore they have upheld their request to keep him in "prison custody".
Faced with the introduction of new evidence into the judicial process, Erjon Veliaj's lawyers requested time to familiarize themselves with it and provide rebuttal explanations regarding the continuation of the defense.
