At midnight, he shot a Kalashnikov in the air, near his apartment, after a conflict with his brother, the 33-year-old was arrested.
Immediately after being notified by several citizens that their family member was shooting a firearm in the air near their apartment, the services of the Dimal Police Station organized the work and went to the given address, in the village of Gorica.
As a result of the immediate intervention and professional actions of the Police services, within the framework of the "Telefonata" operation, the perpetrator, citizen Leonard Tafa, 33 years old, was neutralized, who is suspected of being intoxicated, having had a conflict with his brother, and then having shot a Kalashnikov in the air, near the apartment. The search for the weapon continues.
At the conclusion of the procedural actions, the 33-year-old was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses of "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and "Disturbing public peace", and the materials were referred to the Berat Prosecutor's Office for further action.
