As reported by News24 journalist Klodiana Lala, Meta's lawyer, Kujtim Cakrani, has read half of the file for the defense of PL president Ilir Meta, out of the 270 thousand pages that the file contains.

The Special Anti-Corruption Prosecution Office has made submissions for the investigative file in charge of Ilir Meta, while the decision to transfer the file to trial on the merits is awaited.
The Special Prosecutors have been asked to read the full submissions for the motion for trial, 214 pages in total.
SPAK closed the investigations on July 28, while it passed the file for preliminary trial at the end of August, which included three investigations into a CEZ-DIA affair, LSI lobbying in the US, and the property investigation.
