US encircles Iran, another US warship arrives in the Middle East

Another US warship has arrived in the Middle East, according to maritime tracking data, as speculation continues that the US could launch new attacks on Iran. – reports the BBC.
The US guided-missile destroyer USS Delbert D. Black has been spotted passing through the Suez Canal towards the Gulf, according to data published by the tracking website MarineTraffic.
Currently, at least 10 US warships are believed to be in the Middle East, including the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln.
A US official confirmed to BBC Verify on Tuesday that the aircraft carrier is in the region, although it has not appeared on tracking platforms for more than a week.
However, in the early hours of this morning, BBC Verify tracked a US military Osprey aircraft, which was seen in the Persian Gulf heading towards Oman. The Osprey is a tilt-rotor transport aircraft, which can take off and land vertically like a helicopter but flies like a plane, and is known to operate from the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln.
