The competition for the Director General of RTSH is reopened, the Steering

The Steering Council of Radio Television of Albania has rejected the procedure opened on January 6 for the election of the General Director of RTSH, a procedure that was suspended on January 30 following the request of the Parliamentary Committee on Education and Public Media.

This decision was made at this Tuesday's meeting and received the votes of all members.

The Governing Council also decided to reopen the competition with procedures that restart it from scratch.

By April 15, interested parties will have to submit to Radio Television Albania the documents required according to legal procedures, which can be found on the official website of RTSH. Then, in a second meeting, the Steering Council will review them.

"...to approve today the opening of the competition for the position of General Director of the Albanian Public Radio and Television. Interested parties will have a deadline from tomorrow until April 15, 2025, within official hours, to submit the documentation according to the established criteria", said the chairman of the Steering Council, Fatjon Hoxhalli.

The members appreciated the management so far in this transition period of the institution. Another important point of the meeting was the approval of the draft budget of RTSH.
