Italian police have arrested two Albanians aged 30 and 40, after they were caught with 1 kg of cocaine worth 100 thousand euros.
Italian media write that the two Albanians were caught at the Pescara Nord/Città Sant'Angelo motorway toll booth, while they were known names to the police.
" Investigations will continue to ascertain details about the origin and destination of the drugs, but it is certain that a significant amount of drugs has been seized from the local criminal community, which according to initial investigative estimates could generate an amount of over 100 thousand euros on the illegal market ," the Italian police said.
