Denmark is preparing to defend Greenland, here's their move

Whether or not Donald Trump's threats to take control of Greenland are real, the Danish Armed Forces are preparing for any eventuality.
One of the moves that has already been completed is for the country's military to purchase 750,000 pairs of wool socks, some of which are warm enough to be used in the Greenland ice.
The order was placed last May with a company in Finland and is worth 4 million euros, although it could potentially exceed 10 million euros.
These are merino wool socks in five styles, as Politico writes. The thicker ones are suitable for the Greenland ice.
These are not the only measures Copenhagen has taken so far. In December, it announced it would spend 14.6 billion kroner (1.9 billion euros) to strengthen its defenses in the Arctic and improve its surveillance and sovereignty-maintaining capabilities in the region.
US President Donald Trump has said that control of Greenland is an "absolute necessity" for the US, while refusing to rule out the use of military force to occupy it.
