Ukraine carries out largest drone attack against Russia! 3 killed and 18

Three people have been killed in the Moscow region over the past 24 hours, authorities in Russia say.

The BBC reports that the latest attack in Moscow is being described as the largest drone attack on the Russian capital since the start of the full-scale war with Ukraine.

Meanwhile, 18 people, including 3 children, were reportedly injured in the drone attack, according to Russian health officials.

It is learned that dozens of vehicles were destroyed in Moscow after the drone crashed into a parking lot.

The Russian Defense Ministry said 337 drones were intercepted over Russia and 91 of them were shot down over the Moscow region.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said seven apartments were damaged in Ramenskoye, calling the latest attack a "massive attack."

The attack in Moscow came hours before a close meeting between representatives from the US and Ukraine in Saudi Arabia, a meeting focused on ending the war between Russia and Ukraine.

The talks in Jeddah between Ukrainian delegates and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio are the first official meeting since last month's tense meeting at the White House between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his US counterpart Donald Trump.

Rubio said yesterday that, as part of a deal to stop the war, Ukraine may have to hand over territory to Russia, adding that both sides must understand that "there is no military solution to this situation."

Recall that President Zelensky has called on his European allies to support the idea of an air and naval ceasefire, which he says would be a chance to prove Moscow's willingness to end the war.

Recently, Ukraine's battlefield positions have come under great pressure, particularly in the Russian region of Kursk, where Moscow's forces have launched an offensive to drive out Kiev troops, who have been trying to retain control of a piece of territory for future use in exchange.
