A serious incident occurred in a village in the Petrovec Municipality in Skopje, where a 24-year-old man reportedly dragged his mother with his car.
According to local media, it is learned that the serious incident occurred last Saturday, July 25, where the young man is said to have grabbed his mother through the window of his Fiat vehicle and dragged her body for about 20 meters, then disappeared from the scene.
As a result of the incident, the young man's mother suffered bodily injuries and was taken to receive the necessary treatment at the Public Health Institution "St. Naum Ohridski".
“On 25.07.2026, at 20:30, in a village in the Municipality of Petrovec, police officers from the Skopje Police Station deprived RD (24) from a village in the Skopje region of his liberty.
He is suspected of having grabbed his 42-year-old mother at around 18:50 in the village, through the open window of a Fiat passenger vehicle with Skopje license plates, and dragged her about 20 meters with the vehicle, after which he fled the scene.
The woman suffered bodily injuries and was taken to the Public Health Institution "St. Naum Ohridski" to provide medical assistance. After the case is fully documented, a relevant report will be filed against him," the local police announced.
