The DP's kneeling before the "Candidate for Prime Minister"

At first, when the crisis erupted and the DP split between Berisha and Basha, Berisha allowed his more moderates to say that both of them had to leave – both he and Basha – so that the DP could unite. And so it started with Basha. He resigned after March 6, following partial local elections.
But the same people who previously demanded that both of them leave, later sided with Berisha.
And the new rhetoric began: Those who are with Basha should join Berisha, because he has only one goal – the unification of the DP – and does not want to become its leader.
This pressure continued for a long time, until Basha's group, due to his mistakes, slowly disintegrated and began to approach Berisha at a distance, while maintaining a certain degree of sympathy to integrate as a group.
Then the rhetoric of taking the seal and logo began, which prevented the unification of the DP and the election of a new leader.
Again, those who were with Berisha defended the thesis that once the seal and logo were obtained, Berisha would unite the DP and elect a new leader.
It entered the 2023 elections and came out of them with only 5 municipalities, but it was not considered a loss, as it was justified that the seal had not yet been obtained.
Finally, the seal and logo were taken away. Then, Basha's defectors approached the group, while he was under house arrest, in the hope of taking over the leadership of the parliamentary group and improving their credentials.
After more than a year, Berisha was released from house arrest, and with that, he erased their dream of leading the party, leaving them simply as deputies in line.
Now everyone agreed that Berisha is the undisputed leader of the DP – even those who once said he should go.
From "will not be prime minister" to being announced as a candidate for prime minister
After that, the new and perhaps last fable began:
"Berisha will lead the DP to victory, but he will not be a candidate for prime minister."
At the forefront of this thesis was Berisha himself, who pretended to accept the Democrats' hesitation to have him as their candidate for prime minister, and said that after the victory, a competition would be held for the candidate for prime minister.
Now this too has collapsed.
Yesterday, upon returning from Germany, he declared himself as the Democratic Party's candidate for prime minister and its eternal chairman.
All those who initially did not even accept him as a rival to Lulzim Basha, today accepted him as the eternal chairman of the party and the eternal candidate for prime minister.
Why was it necessary to announce a candidate for prime minister?
The reason is that it is very important that when he is sentenced, or faces other legal proceedings, he is not a “nobody”, but a major political figure. Or as the popular saying goes, “Let him not run away like a kulish, but a grown dog.”
So, so that it is not said that they are arresting a former MP, but the opposition candidate for prime minister.
Now everyone is calm and silent, after Berisha used them for almost four years, lining them up according to his interests, sometimes appearing submissive to them, sometimes as a man in distress, until he finally humiliated them and put them all in line.
All for one purpose: To appear before the courts as a "big fish" that they cannot "swallow".
As for the other stories, that Trump will remove the "non grata" and that England will return the money from the trials, these are for after May 11, when the lies so far are consumed.
