Jessie J confirms separation from partner: It didn't work out as a couple, but we have respect and love for each other

British singer Jessie J has confirmed that she has ended her relationship with basketball player Chanan Colman, with whom she also has a son, Sky.

The artist announced the news during a conversation with followers on Instagram, where she was asked about her sentimental status. Jessie J revealed that she is currently single, emphasizing that the separation occurred in complete understanding.

She explained that there are no conflicts between her and Colman and that the two have decided to maintain a healthy relationship for the sake of their son.

"Romantically, it just didn't work out. However, we have a lot of respect and love for each other. He's a wonderful man and we've decided to remain friends," the singer said.

Jessie J said that despite the split, she and Colman will continue to be dedicated parents and will collaborate on raising their son.

During the conversation with fans, the singer also spoke about marriage, saying that she has never seen it as a life goal, but as a step that should only happen with the right person.

Jessie J and Chanan Colman became parents to Sky in 2023. The basketball player had been by the artist's side even during a difficult emotional period after losing her pregnancy in 2021.
