For centuries, honey has been used against coughs and sore throats.
Dry cough is also combated with honey and grape juice, or with a glass of milk with honey before bed.
You can also mix lemon juice with honey in a glass of warm water and drink it up to three times a day.
If your cough is worsening, put three tablespoons of fenugreek seeds in a cup of water and boil them together.
When the water starts to thicken, strain it and mix the liquid with three tablespoons of lemon juice and honey respectively. Then, whenever you get a cough, take a tablespoon of this magical mixture.
For a dry cough, grate ginger, add a little salt, and chew for a few minutes.
Coughs can also be fought with ginger tea, which is prepared by boiling it in water until most of it evaporates. Strain the liquid, add a spoonful of honey and drink it warm.
Prepare thyme tea by adding two tablespoons of crushed thyme leaves to a teapot filled with water and boiling for 10 minutes.
After straining, add honey and lemon. All three together have great healing powers.
Tea with honey and black pepper
If you suffer from a persistent cough or one with secretions, try tea with honey and black pepper.
The latter stimulates circulation and the release of secretions, and honey stops coughing.
Use one teaspoon of black pepper and two tablespoons of honey. Mix them in a glass of hot water. Let them sit together for 15 minutes, strain the liquid and drink.
Take a slice of lemon. Sprinkle it with black pepper and salt and drink the magical liquid that provides instant healing.
Take some orange juice, add a few tablespoons of crushed or powdered almonds and drink it against a cough.
You can make a fantastic syrup with onions. Mix lemon juice, honey, and chopped onion and boil them in a pot of hot water for 2 hours. Strain the liquid and drink a tablespoon of it every hour.
Mix the clove spice with honey and store it overnight in the refrigerator. In the morning, remove the dried cloves and consume a spoonful of the remaining honey. The sore throat will heal and the inflammation will reduce.
Prepare fresh carrot juice by squeezing four carrots and mixing the juice with water. You should drink this juice four times a day.
This plant, also known as Liquorice, fights coughs because it softens secretions and provides relief from bronchitis spasms. Two teaspoons of licorice juice in warm water are enough./ AgroWeb.org
