17th Anniversary of Kosovo's Independence/ Hashim Thaçi and Haxhi Shala appear together from The Hague cells

On the 17th anniversary of Kosovo's independence, former President Hashim Thaçi and former Kosovo Assembly member Haxhi Shala appeared via live link from The Hague. They were seen smiling during a conversation with Shala's family, from which a photo was taken.

Haxhi Shala's son, Flakroni, also shared photos of the two of them during their time as part of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) and now that they are being unjustly held in The Hague.

"From the war front in 1999 to today's challenges—always at the service of Kosovo! History may change, but ideals remain unbreakable. Happy Independence, people of Kosovo!" he wrote in his post.
